Who are we?

WE ARE A TEAM

OF “GREEN LIONS” CONSTITUTED AS A FEDERATIVE ASSOCIATION

.

Faced with the evidence of the degradation of our environment, we are driven by the spirit of service to the pan bold community and more particularly in the areas of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Our aims are purely philanthropic, altruistic, educational and cultural.

 

QHAT IS DEFI POUR L’ENVIRONNEMENT.ORG?

 

A UNIQUE SERVICE PLATFORM

 

One Single platform which lists all the actions taken by service clubs and other local players (associations, companies, local authorities, etc.) to protect the environment in France and Europe: nature clean-ups (forests, beaches and coastlines, waterways, roadsides, urban areas, etc.), creation of micro-forests, environmental education, conferences, ECO’LIONS Days, Sustainable Development Festival, etc.
This platform, a genuine community tool, provides members with a range of services and assistance, including :

  • Its unique database of listed shares (which it has created and of which it remains manager and owner/has full rights)
  • Its suggestion box, completed by all members,
  • Experience (intellectual, technical and logistical advice, administrative and technical assistance to set up projects, etc.),
  • Its support in terms of communication (dissemination of actions through this unique tool to the media),
  • Help with fund-raising,
  • Its digital media (articles, dossiers, reading ideas, videos, etc.).

 

A “THEMATIC CHANNEL” THAT ORGANIZES AND BROADCASTS VIDEOCONFERENCES

This platform organizes and broadcasts thematic videoconference cycles for all audiences on its own channel and channels. They are led by renowned experts and speakers, providing scientific, economic, societal and environmental insights that are accessible to all.

 

Our Goals

RAISE AWARENESS AMONG AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE

Research and development, innovations, events, trade fairs, international forums…
Everything related to the environment, biodiversity and , more broadly, sustainable development must be known and shared by as many people as possible, in order to create a common dynamic.

GATHER, COORDINATE, DEVELOP

Bringing together individuals and associations sharing the same themes and ethics, and sharing best practices.
Coordinate, develop and promote global initiatives.

Our 2024-2027 key themes

 

Raising public awareness:

  • protecting seas and oceans

  • to climate change and its consequences

  • saving a pollinating insect: the bee

and help it to understand and act individually and collectively.

1 – SAVE MED’SEA: UP TO YOU!

The target is the Mediterranean Sea, the most polluted sea in the world: we need to act.

In particular, we are targeting plastic waste, sunscreen products (

2 – THE PROTECTION OF BEES with our
educational beehive
 for schools.
